Glass fog can be dangerous. It makes your auto glass look cloudy and unsafe for driving. It is a common problem for auto owners, especially those who are living in tough weather conditions. It occurs mainly with heavy precipitation, heavy humidity or even a sudden change in temperature. Water condenses on your windshield and forms into a single droplet. This is what's causing the "fog" appearance.

This became a difficult problem in NASA's space exploration helmet visors in the 1960's. A fabulous anti-fog treatment was then invented to make sure that our astronauts have proper vision in space. This has paved the way to the development of anti-fogging treatments for other surface applications.

Because of this, great anti-fogging treatment was then developed for the automotive industry and automobile mirrors. Though a few of the treatment solutions don't completely clear your windshield from fog-build-up, it helps in reducing it to a significant level, which is enough for you to have clear driving visibility. It is very helpful in maintaining safety and comfort for drivers on the road.

Anti-fog window treatments are found easily on the marketplace. They come in aerosol solutions. Nowadays, they are also sold in disposable, wipes which make it handier. So, in hazardous situations where blurry fog build-up suddenly appears on your windshield, a sheet of a disposable wipe will do the trick. Applying the product on your glass is so easy and convenient that I can assure you, will not have to worry about your fog windshield anymore.

Here are a few tips, tricks, and techniques on how to get rid of fog build-up on your windshield. One, make sure you have cleaned your glass surface. 2, if using a liquid, make sure that the cloth is made of 100% cotton. 3, there is no specific way or style to do the application. Just make sure that you wipe the entire mirrors surface, leaving no spot untreated. 4, when you are wiping your windshield, be very cautious, that you only wipe it on the glass surface. Avoid hitting other car components, especially painted surfaces. The treatment's chemical composition doesn't really do well on painted stuff. Five, after you're finished, wiping all areas concerned, you can dry your mirrors surface by using a dry clean cotton cloth or hand towels.

With these tips, tricks, and techniques you should be able to travel without the difficult problems that fog windshield would cause. I would also like for you to consider some of the other products Rain-X has provided to help you see the road in front in a clear and safe way.
